Every item you purchase from the Lady Artisan is handmade by me and of the highest quality possible. Your satisfaction is guaranteed; return policy is stated below. Each item is unique and will not be duplicated unless otherwise stated in the description. Customer service is extremely important to me and I will do everything I can to make sure you are taken care of completely during every aspect of your shopping experience.

I've tried to make purchasing items as simple as possible. For most items, you can simply add the piece to your shopping cart and pay through our secure online system. If you have concerns about paying online, you can contact me directly by email or call 210-566-5585. If you order something by email, I will respond as quickly as possible, but cannot guarantee that the piece will still be available if someone purchases through our online shopping cart before I can handle your order.
I also have two Etsy shops, one for books and one for dolls/sculpts. Items that are found in those shops are clearly labelled with a direct link to the item in the shop. If an item is listed on my website here with no Etsy information attached, it is only available on this website. Conversely, I list items in my shops sometimes that may not be included here.
For certain items, it's not feasible to process them through an online shopping system. Those items are clearly marked as such and can be purchased by contacting me by email or phone (210-566-5585).
I don't duplicate items but would be more than happy to make a similar item if you like something that is no longer available.

If you receive an item broken, contact me as soon as possible to let me know what happened. If you wish to have the item repaired or replaced, we will arrange for you to return it. Return shipping charges are the customer's responsibilitiy but I will cover shipping for replacement/repaired items to be returned to you. If you decide to keep the damaged item, I will send you the appropriate information to file a claim with the Post Office for the damage. If an item is lost in shipping, I will refund or replace the item at no charge to you.
If you simply decide you do not like the item once you've received it, return it for a full refund, minus shipping charges and tax, if applicable. You need to return it within 15 days. Again, return shipping charges are the customer's responsibility.
There are no returns on customized or commission pieces.

I use USPS for shipping. Insurance is automatically added for all OOAK items and anything over $25. For less expensive items that are easier to reproduce, insurance is optional. I use the cheapest shipping option available (First Class for lightweight items, Priority Mail for heavier items, Priority Mail Flat Weight for heavy items that fit in the appropriate boxes).
International orders that are lightweight and under $25 will be shipped First Class International. An upgrade is available to Priority Mail with Insurance (international orders can only add insurance with Priority Mail shipping). Be aware that the shipping cost can double (or more) with the upgrade. All OOAK, heavier shipping items, and anything over $25 will be shipped Priority Mail with insurance.
