Storkop
There's a small town called Storkop in an unspecified part of the United States (although it's probably somewhere in Texas since that's what I'm most familiar with). It was settled by Northern Europeans and originally called New Europe (curiously enough). After a few decades, the population of the town began to exhibit unusual...er...physical proportions. The town was renamed Storkop--a contraction of the word "stor," meaning "large/big" in Danish and Swedish and the word "kop," meaning head in Dutch.
This series of dolls represent various inhabitants of Storkop, each with their own personality and story. Some are quite "normal" while others are a bit more fantastical. But all exhibit the same unusual...er...physical propoertions and all live relatively happily together in their little town. This is a series I'm doing and I will add to it as I complete the figures. My plan is to make an art doll journal for each one describing how I made the doll, what kinds of materials and supplies I used and various comments, thoughts, ideas, and changes I made as I was sculpting and putting the doll together. While I may not offer them for sale with the doll, I will usually have them available separately, if the purchaser desires to buy them separately.
